Cyprus Credit Union is seeking a part-time Bilingual Financial Service Representative (Teller) who enjoys working with people and achieving results. The role focuses on building relationships, uncovering financial needs, and recommending products to help members meet goals.

You will contribute to sales and referral targets while delivering accurate transactions and a positive member experience. This position is ideal for someone outgoing, goal-oriented, and fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
• Strong sales mindset with motivation to achieve goals.
• Confidence initiating conversations and recommending products and services.
• Excellent customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people.
• Past sales, retail, customer service, banking, or cash-handling experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with members through meaningful conversations and questions.
• Identify and recommend Credit Union products and services based on needs.
• Contribute to individual and branch sales and referral goals.
• Look for opportunities to deepen member relationships beyond transactions.
• Educate members on accounts, loans, digital banking, and available solutions.
• Explain product value and ask for the member's business.
• Follow up on opportunities and referrals when appropriate.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions accurately.
• Deliver a positive member experience balancing service, sales, accuracy, and efficiency.

Cyprus Credit Union is looking for a Bilingual Financial Service Representative (Teller) who loves working with people and is motivated by achieving results.

This isn't just a transaction-based teller position. Our Financial Service Representatives build relationships, uncover financial needs, recommend products and services, and help members find solutions that make sense for them. You'll also have the opportunity to earn incentives for your performance.

What You'll Do

• Build relationships with members and uncover financial needs through meaningful conversations and effective questions.
• Identify and recommend Credit Union products and services based on each member's needs and financial goals.
• Actively contribute to individual and branch sales and referral goals.
• Look beyond the immediate transaction to identify opportunities to deepen member relationships.
• Educate members on checking and savings accounts, loans, credit products, digital banking services, and other available solutions.
• Confidently explain the value and benefits of products and ask members for their business.
• Follow up on identified opportunities and referrals when appropriate.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver a positive member experience while balancing service, sales, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Protect confidential member information and follow Credit Union policies and procedures.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with a set schedule:

Monday–Friday: 1:30 PM–6:00 PM
Saturdays: Some Saturdays required, 8:45 AM–2:00 PM
Sundays: Closed

Location

This position may be assigned to one of our Salt Lake Valley and surrounding branches, including Centerville, North Salt Lake, Foothill, 4th South, Millcreek, 5600 West, West Valley, 4700 South, Magna, or Tooele.
