Job summary

Latino Community Development Agency in Oklahoma City is seeking a Part-Time Parent Educator to provide parenting classes and support to families referred by DHS. This role includes conducting assessments and maintaining documentation to meet compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Social Work, have experience working with families, and be bilingual in English and Spanish. Flexibility is required for evening and weekend appointments.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children and families.
• Able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms with English and Spanish-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and assessments for families referred by DHS.
• Facilitate parenting classes and observation sessions.
• Maintain accurate records for agency and accreditation compliance.
• Participate in case staffing meetings with the supervisor.
• Ensure confidentiality of all documentation and records.
