Job summary

The Whole Child - Mental Health & Housing Services in West Covina is seeking a Parent Educator to visit families and deliver PAT-based services for young children. You will build positive relationships, empower parents, and ensure consistent, evidence-informed support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma and 2 years’ supervised work with young children/parents.
• Must be PAT certified annually by the PAT National Center at no cost via the agency.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills essential for PAT goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PAT-based home visits with expectant parents/young children.
• Maintain a caseload of 20–30 active clients; adapt to funder rules.
• Meet productivity targets (40 visits/month Year 1; up to 60 thereafter).
• Submit visit notes within 3 business days in SFDB/Penelope.
• Engage in outreach and community events to sustain referrals.
