Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a Part-Time Store Associate in Carbondale, IL. You will assist customers, answer questions about products, and help maintain store displays and inventory while meeting sales goals.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, tinting/mixing products, stocking shelves, and supporting deliveries as needed. Must be 18+, fluent in English and Spanish, with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 70 lb.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Pull products from floor or warehouse and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
