Job summary

Sherwin-Williams in Matteson, IL is seeking a part-time Store Associate to help customers determine needs, recommend products, and uphold visual standards while meeting sales goals. You will handle transactions, assist with deliveries, stock shelves, and stay informed about product features.

Applicants must be at least 18, legally eligible to work in the United States, fluent in English and Spanish, and able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
• Must hold a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to retrieve items and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers in person and by phone.
• Determine customer needs and present appropriate products and services.
• Build trusted relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in line with policies.
• Follow and help achieve sales goals monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
• Maintain organized work orders and stock on shelves and in the warehouse.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves, set up displays, and keep store equipment clean.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
