Job summary

The Moses/Weitzman Health System seeks a Research Coordinator I – Outreach Specialist to support the All of Us program by driving outreach, engagement, enrollment, and retention efforts. You will screen patients, explain studies, obtain informed consent, and coordinate participation across community events and clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or healthcare certifications or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication skills across diverse populations.
• Ability to problem solve and maintain priorities across tasks.
• Attention to detail and thorough documentation.
• Ability to follow procedures and protocols consistently.
• Willingness to travel throughout CT and engage in recruitment events.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet applications.
• Knowledge of public health research concepts and participatory research with communities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize outreach, engagement and recruitment methods to drive enrollment and retention for All of Us.
• Print, distribute outreach postcards and process responses.
• Identify, engage and screen patients for eligibility and enroll in All of Us or ancillary studies.
• Provide clear overview of programs and answer questions.
• Use Teach Back and Motivational Interviewing to build rapport.
• Obtain informed consent for IRB protocols.
• Administer surveys and record data.
• Use data to assess effectiveness of outreach strategies.
• Perform basic biometrics (waist, weight, height, heart rate, BP).
• Assist with biospecimen collections and processing.
• Schedule enrollment/retention activities.
• Conduct daily outreach (in person, phone, email, mail) and coordinate events.
• Raise awareness through community events, waiting room outreach, and educational sessions.
