Job summary

Maximus is hiring a Bilingual Community Outreach Specialist (English/Spanish) in Anaheim, CA. This onsite role requires travel within the county and neighboring counties as needed.

You will coordinate intake referrals, provide information, screen eligibility, and support applicants through the enrollment process. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 0-6 months of relevant experience, reliable transportation, CA driver's license, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required; comfortable communicating with diverse populations.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Presentation or public speaking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the local community and travel within the county may be required.

Responsibilities

• Process intake referrals via calls, voicemail, email, or other channels.
• Provide program information and refer clients to appropriate resources.
• Conduct initial eligibility screening for services.
• Review applications and supporting documents for completeness.
• Enter and maintain data in databases and systems.
• Coordinate with staff or field resources to collect required information.
• Assist customers in accessing services aligned with program goals.
