Job summary

Bi-Bett Corporation in Concord, CA is hiring full-time, in-person AOD counselors to perform intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide individual and group counseling for adults with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Spanish bilingual proficiency is required for one position and preferred for the other; you will collaborate with community resources, maintain documentation in the electronic health record, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and program policies.

Qualifications

• Certified AOD Counselor preferred; candidates to obtain certification as AOD Counselor per state certifying agencies may be considered.
• AMFTs and ASWs are encouraged to apply.
• Minimum two years’ experience facilitating outpatient groups – preferred.
• Minimum two years’ experience providing counseling – preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments and collaborative treatment planning according to ASAM guidelines.
• Coordinate care with community resources and collaborate with medical providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete records within the electronic health record.
• Provide individual and group counseling and intensive SUD outpatient services using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Respond to client and referral source communications within one business day.
• Engage in supervision and ongoing professional development as required.
