Roosevelt Family Eye Care in New York is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. As an Optical Sales Associate, you will assist customers with glasses and lens purchases and ensure an excellent shopping experience.

Responsibilities include handling the register, stocking, inventory, and maintaining the store's appearance. The ideal candidate has optical knowledge and can communicate clearly in English and Spanish to help customers select eyewear.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of sales techniques and customer service best practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping.
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.
• Collect payments by cash and credit card
• Issue receipts and refunds to customers
• Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
• Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
• Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
