Job summary

Soma Medical Center PA is seeking a dedicated Adult Nurse Practitioner to join our Internal Medicine and Primary Care team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. In this in-person role, you will collaborate with the Medical Director and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for adults.

The ideal candidate holds an FL NP license (APRN) with at least 1 year of practice. We offer a robust benefits package, CME support, and a collaborative work culture in South Florida.

• Valid Nurse Practitioner License in the State of Florida.
• 1 year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to adult patients with acute and chronic conditions using a shared decision-making approach.
• Collect, document, and maintain detailed patient histories and examination findings.
• Diagnose health conditions and prescribe treatments, medications, therapies, and vaccinations.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests to support medical decision-making.
• Educate patients and community on disease prevention, lifestyle changes, and health maintenance.
• Communicate test results and treatment plans to patients.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
• Lead and coordinate care activities with other healthcare professionals and support staff.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
• Offer consulting services to physicians and participate in health programs when applicable.
