Job summary

The Psychology Assistant at employee-einstein will serve as the primary research coordinator for a newly funded NIH study, focused on passive smartphone phenotypes in Alzheimer’s disease. The role requires conducting neuropsychological assessments, administering interviews, and ensuring data integrity across English and Spanish-language needs.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage databases in Excel/SPSS/R, and assist with IRB documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree is required.
Major in Neuroscience and/or Psychology is preferred.
Experience working in a Neuroscience and/or Psychology Laboratory preferred.
Experience with software programs such as Excel, SPSS, and R preferred.
Experience working with adults and/or older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

Conducts and scores neuropsychological assessments in compliance with study protocols.
Conducts participant interviews using standardized techniques to ensure accurate data collection.
Review, and audit data for accuracy; follow up with participants as needed to resolve discrepancies.
Works with statistical team to perform analyses.
Conducts literature reviews to support research activities and manuscript development.
Manages research databases using Excel, and other statistical or data management programs.
Organizes and prepares grant-related documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions. May write reports to present at meeting.
Perform other related duties as assigned; and,
May require off-campus site visits.
Proficiently perform job functions in both English and Spanish on based on department need;
