Job summary

Gray Media’s Telemundo Atlanta station is seeking a dynamic multimedia reporter (MMJ) to thrive in a digital-first newsroom. The role requires native Spanish, strong writing, and the ability to shoot and edit video.

You will develop local sources, post stories to digital platforms, and engage audiences on social media. Daily duties include reporting live across newscasts and the Digital Desk, creating compelling video content, and contributing to editorial decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field.
• Experience in TV or online news preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report news stories for broadcast in native Spanish, describing the background and details of events.
• Report live in multiple newscasts daily, including for the Digital Desk.
• Pitch lead-worthy and/or original story ideas on a daily basis.
• Create compelling content for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.
• Proactively participate in the editorial process and newsroom discussions.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of community sources.
• Operate as an integrated MMJ: shoot, write, and edit in all formats.
