Job summary

The Q Kapital Group Corp in Florida is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor / Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the mortgage industry, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple loan files in a fast-paced environment.

You will support Loan Officers, collect and verify documentation, coordinate third-party reports, and maintain organized loan records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry – REQUIRED
• Bilingual in English and Portuguese – REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of the mortgage loan process and required documentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple loan files simultaneously
• Excellent follow-through and ability to meet deadlines Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Support Loan Officers throughout the mortgage origination and pre-approval process.
• Communicate directly with borrowers to request, collect, and follow up on all required documentation.
• Order and follow up on third-party services and reports, including credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title reports, condo questionnaires, insurance documentation, and other items required for loan processing.
• Review incoming documentation for completeness and properly organize borrower and loan files.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic loan records and ensure documentation is uploaded and categorized appropriately.
• Respond promptly and professionally to basic borrower questions and provide updates throughout the loan process.
• Maintain consistent follow-up on outstanding conditions, documentation, and third-party items until completion.
• Communicate effectively with Loan Officers, borrowers, real estate professionals, title companies, insurance agents, and other parties involved in the transaction
• Provide timely updates regarding loan status, outstanding items, deadlines, and potential issues.
• Participate in pipeline meetings and assist Loan Officers in maintaining accurate and up-to-date loan pipelines.
• Proactively identify missing information or potential delays and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
• Help ensure loan files progress efficiently from initial application through processing and toward closing.
