Guidepost Montessori at Prosperity is hiring a Bilingual Assistant Guide to support young children in a two-language environment. The role emphasizes daily Spanish use, joyful routines, and building confidence in every child.

You’ll work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, closing shift, helping prepare engaging spaces and supporting individual and small-group activities, while greeting families at pickup. We offer sponsored Montessori diploma training and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken).
• Experience with infants–6-year-olds in school or childcare setting.
• Availability for Mon-Fri 9:00 AM–6:00 PM closing shift.
• Positive, flexible, and team-minded attitude.
• Love for working with young children.
• Montessori curiosity; Montessori experience welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Speak with children in Spanish to make it a natural part of daily routines.
• Share songs, books, and cultural traditions to bring Spanish alive.
• Observe children to understand and support their needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom.
• Support individual and small-group learning activities.
• Build warm relationships with children and Spanish-speaking families.
• Work with Lead Guides to build a strong classroom community.
• Close the classroom each afternoon and greet families at pickup.

Skills
