Job summary

Welocalize is seeking Metadata Specialists to join our team on-site at a leading consumer technology company. You will evaluate the quality of written and spoken text, contribute to finished products released in global markets, and may work on content review for Music and TV applications.

The role involves collaboration with international teams to monitor and improve client products and data integrations, with responsibilities including QA testing, following glossaries, and delivering

Qualifications

• Native level fluency in one of the following languages (Germen, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish (Mexico), Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, Russian).
• Experience with advanced spreadsheet tools like Excel or similar.
• At least 1 year experience working as a QA, Data Analyst or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV.
• Up-to-date awareness of technical language usage in the target language.

Responsibilities

• QA various products by following testing instructions and test cases.
• Adhere to project-specific quality standards, style guides and glossaries.
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.

Welocalize are seeking Metadata Specialists with backgrounds in many locales and languages. You will be working onsite at a leading consumer technology company as a contributor to the finished products released in target markets across the globe. You will evaluate the quality of both written and spoken text for services as it relates to your area of linguistic and geographic expertise. In addition, you may also work on content review and creation for Music and TV applications. You will work cooperatively with international teams to monitor and improve the quality of client products and partner data integrations.

The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and areas of accountability of the Bilingual metadata specialist:

• QA various products in by accurately following testing instructions and test cases
• Adhere to project-specific quality standards, trademarks, style guides and client-preferred checklists and glossaries
• Complete assigned tasks in a quality and timely manner
• Ability to stay motivated and deliver results while working on repetitive tasks
• Ability to under and prioritize task and issues quickly and efficiently.
