Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team and work closely with a clinician to support up to 8 families at a time. You will provide intensive, strength-based, in-home services designed to help families manage crisis situations and build long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make at least two home visits per week per family, plus crisis support as needed
  • Build trusting relationships with families using a strength-based, supportive approach
  • Collaborate with a licensed clinician to develop and carry out individualized family treatment plans
  • Assist families with navigating school systems, service providers, and other community resources
  • Attend weekly clinical meetings, supervision, and maintain up-to-date records
  • Provide case management and accompany parents to key meetings or appointments

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field
  • Language: Must be bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Experience: Knowledge of family systems, child/adolescent mental health, or crisis intervention
    • Comfortable working with diverse populations and providing home-based support
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
