Are you passionate about the Medicare population and looking for an opportunity to work in sales with the ability to directly impact your income potential? Do you have a track record of building trusting relationships and exceeding expectations? If so, we are seeking licensed, motivated, and self-driven individuals to join our team.

In this field position, you will build community relationships, drive self-generated sales, and meet sales goals and metrics independently. You will interact with Humana’s customers, external business partners, and the community through face-to-face, virtual, and telephonic interactions. Face-to-face activities include grassroots marketing, community events, and home visits.

Our Medicare Sales Field Agents sell individual health plans and educate beneficiaries about our services in a field setting. Additional products include Life, Annuity, Indemnity, Dental, Vision, Prescription, and more.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to have daily face-to-face interactions with prospective members.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, capable of speaking, reading, and writing fluently.
  • Active Health Insurance license or ability to obtain before start date.
  • Experience with technology, including laptops, mobile apps, and CRM tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle insurance (100/300/100 limits), and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload; wireless, wired, or DSL connection preferred.
  • Remote work from home in CA, IL, MT, or SD with internet reimbursement.
  • Dedicated, interruption-free workspace to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
  • Reside within the assigned territory/county.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance licenses.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with TEAMS and PowerPoint.
  • Community engagement experience.
  • Experience selling Medicare products.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.

Additional Information:

  • Non-English speakers must pass a language proficiency assessment.
  • Applicants may be asked to provide their SSN for security and compliance purposes.

Schedule: Flexibility required for evenings and weekends; appointments and events vary.

Training: First 3-4 weeks of employment, mandatory attendance.

Interview Process: Using HireVue technology for initial screening. Selected candidates will receive a text invitation for a 5-10 minute video interview.

Travel may be required for training or meetings. This is a remote position with occasional travel.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Pay Range: $31,800 - $43,800 annually, plus potential commissions based on performance.

This job is eligible for a performance incentive plan. This requisition is not eligible for a referral bonus.
