Johns Hopkins Community Physicians is seeking a qualified Spanish speaking bilingual interpreter for the Bilingual Medical Office Assistantposition at our East Baltimore Medical Center Adult Medicine practice.In partnership with Baltimore Medical System another local health system, that provides much-needed healthcare services to the community. The Bilingual Medical Office Assistant in the managed care practice provides for the smooth flow of patients through the practice, for the proper disposition of telephone calls that are received by and originate from the practice and for the coordination of patient appointments and correspondence. Offers friendly, courteous assistance to every customer to ensure that they have a positive, professional experience while at JHCP.

Shift

Shift: Non-exempt. - Full-time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri

What You'll Need to be Successful:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Two years’ work experienced preferred.
  • If bilingual, must successfully pass the required JHM approved designated language assessment prior to receiving employment. Successful candidates must complete all required training within 30 days of hire.Must successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.

Salary Range: Minimum$17.11/hour - Maximum$ 28.26/hour.Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
