Job summary

Treasure Coast Community Health, Inc. is seeking a Receptionist/Front Desk - Medical to join our team in Florida.

You will open the front door, greet and direct patients, manage scheduling and phone calls, verify insurance, and assist with patient flow and data entry to ensure smooth clinic operations. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma (or equivalent); a certificate is a plus, and bilingual English/Spanish is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unlocks and opens front door admitting patients into waiting room before clinic hours.
• Coordinates all clinical telephone communications and verifies insurances.
• Checks insurance for patients when needed and assists in patient data collection.
• Supports patient flow and scheduling, including phone, in person, and walk-ins.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information and professional appearance.
