Team1Medical is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant for a cardiology clinic in the Houston area. The role includes rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing EKGs, with travel to multiple North Houston locations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of MA experience, preferably in cardiology, and certification from an accredited program. Fluency in Spanish and Vietnamese is required. This temp-to-hire position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Medical Assistant Certification through an accredited program is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a medical assistant.
• Experience in a Cardiology practice preferred.
• Must be willing to travel to multiple clinic locations in North Houston.
• Bilingual in Spanish and Vietnamese is required.
• Must be able to check blood pressure manually.

Aufgaben

• Room patients, obtain vitals and administer EKGs as part of patient care.
• Perform triage with vital signs and prepare for testing.
• Assist with cardiology testing such as Nuclear Medicine, Stress Test and Tilt Table testing.
• Collect patient history and enter information into the EMR system.
• Call in patient prescriptions to pharmacies.
