Job summary

ChenMed is seeking a Care Promoter 1 to support our physician‑led primary care centers. This role blends administrative duties with essential clinical tasks under direct physician supervision to keep clinics running smoothly.

The Care Promoter 1 works as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping with patient flow, vitals, basic procedures, and health coaching for targeted patient groups, with potential local travel up to 10% and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant / PCT / EMT or Paramedic program required.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measures and records patient vital signs and medical history.
• Communicates patient needs to the PCP and clinical team.
• Prepares patients for exams and assists with procedures.
• Observes patients and reports changes to the physician.
• Performs basic waived lab tests and phlebotomy as directed.
• Administers medications under physician supervision and manages dressings.
• Maintains supplies and adheres to safety standards.
• Handles patient calls and relays information to clinicians.
• May call prescriptions to the pharmacy after physician approval.
• Provides health coaching to defined patient groups and follows up weekly.
