Job summary

The Medical Assistant role supports a multidisciplinary care team, taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and assisting with procedures. Bilingual English/Spanish is required, and some evenings and Saturdays may be needed.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of one year experience or clinical externship.
- Basic proficiency with EMR (Epic preferred).
- Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a care team to provide health services and resources.
- Assist providers with onsite procedures.
- Take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and administer vaccines.
- Assist patients with questions, calls, scheduling, and records review.
- Engage in extensive clinical and Epic training.
