Job summary

You will greet patients, take histories, assist physicians, handle basic lab tasks, administer medications, and manage schedules and records. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and preferably CMA/RMA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as CMA or RMA is a plus.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and collect specimens as directed.
• Administer medications and injections as authorized by the physician.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
