Job summary

HEALTH EXPRESS CLINICS NETWORK PLLC in Denton, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by pulling charts, setting up equipment, and supporting nurses and medical staff to ensure timely care.

You will also manage inventory, assist with lab reporting, and help with cleaning and room turnover. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, office experience, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA preferred.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish is required or preferred.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Referral and procedure prior authorizations, if required by Insurance
• Able to perform Venipuncture/blood draw and prepare for pick up
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
