Lone Star Family Health Center in Texas is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a patient-centered clinical team. You will support providers, handle vital signs, assist with exams, and help coordinate care across the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

• Medical Assistant training or certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked clinical environment.
• Conduct pre-visit planning and initiate necessary labs or tests.
• Prepare patients for examination and document medical information.
• Perform venipuncture, waived tests, and related QC procedures.
• Label, process, and manage laboratory specimens.
• Coordinate patient flow and communication with the healthcare team.
• Assist with medication refills, DME requests, and referrals.
• Provide chaperone support during sensitive exams.
• Assist with in-office procedures and instrument setup.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and autoclave procedures.
• Maintain confidential patient records and assist with translations.
