Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Assist physicians and nursing staff with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, and other patient care procedures.
  2. Maintain quality control standards.
  3. Record and process patient care documentation accurately in EMR.
  4. Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, adhering to company standards and policies.
  5. Organize, stock, clean exam and treatment rooms, and sterilize instruments.
  6. Maintain required certifications including Medical Assistant and CPR.

The role requires managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work across multiple locations and respond calmly in emergencies is essential. Performance will be recognized and rewarded, with opportunities for professional development.

Required Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Current, recognized Medical Assistant certification or registration, or ability to obtain within 180 days.
  3. CPR/BLS certification or ability to attain within 30 days.
  4. At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a related medical setting.
  5. Knowledge of medical terminology.
  6. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  7. Must pass Tuberculosis screening and provide proof of immunity/vaccination for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with ICD-9/10 and CPT coding.
  2. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

The hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $28.85, depending on experience, education, certifications, and local labor market conditions.
