Job summary

USA Clinics Group seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient workflow across clinics in Manhattan and the Bronx. You will support physicians before, during, and after procedures while ensuring an outstanding service experience.

The role requires 1–2 years of clinical experience, a CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish communication. Full-time, weekends and varied hours, with compensation in the $20–$24/hour range.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar direct patient care role required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
