Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic workflow while supporting the physician before, during and after procedures, ensuring a high-quality service experience for every patient.

This full-time, float position supports our Queens and Brooklyn clinics, requires bilingual Spanish/English, and includes phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vital signs, and EMR/EHR documentation with paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or direct patient care role, required.
• Experience performing vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in EMR/EHR
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast‑paced clinical environment
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable
