Job summary

Primor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced primary care setting. Under the supervision of licensed providers, the MA helps ensure efficient patient care and smooth office operations, performing routine clinical tasks and front-office duties.

Requirements include bilingual Spanish, a CMA/RMA/CCMA certification (or CMA program completion), a high school diploma or GED, CPR/BLS, and prior experience in a high-volume clinic.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish required; must communicate with patients in both languages.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination (vital signs, weight, history).
• Assist with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars.
• Greet and check-in patients; verify insurance and demographics.
• Maintain patient records in the EHR; assist with billing/coding if applicable.
