Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center in Sarasota, FL is seeking a bilingual Clinical Assistant (Medical Assistant/CNA) to join our nonprofit team. You will support the medical staff, document visits, perform CLIA-waived testing after training, educate clients, and help ensure a positive patient experience from check-in to check-out.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $19–$21, with benefits and opportunities to grow in women's health care.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant, CNA, Medical Technician, or equivalent credential.
• Minimum of one year of patient care experience in a healthcare setting such as a physician practice, outpatient clinic, urgent care, hospital, or women's health office.
• Experience obtaining vital signs and documenting patient information.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare clients for appointments.
• Gather health histories and document patient information.
• Record vital signs and assist with routine clinical procedures.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing after training, including pregnancy and STI testing.
• Educate clients regarding pregnancy, reproductive health, and available services.
• Communicate follow-up information and assist with care coordination.
• Enter and maintain patient documentation in the EMR system.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
• Assist physicians, nurses, and other staff during visits.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Complete required organizational and clinical training.
• Assist with additional administrative or clinical projects.
