Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Must obtain Kaiser Medication Administration Competency within 90 days.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong communication and computer keyboarding skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes patients' office visits with tests and records ready for clinician review.
• Collects subjective and objective data related to the visit.
• Uses health maintenance tools to address gaps and alert clinicians.
• Assists with diagnostic tests and procedures within scope.
• Documents patient data in the electronic medical record.
• Ensures exam room is stocked and clean.
• Provides post-visit instructions and follow-up care.
