Job summary

Omni Women’s Health Medical Group in Fresno, CA is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced women's health practice at the 2210 E Illinois Ave location. You will perform patient intake, take vitals, prep exam rooms, and assist with a range of administrative tasks.

The role requires completion of an MA program and at least 1 year in a medical office setting; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program from accredited school.
• 1+ years of experience in medical office setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interview patients, measure vital signs, and document pertinent information in the patient's chart.
• Prepare exam rooms for patient examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports.
• Administer immunizations/injections.
• Arrange for patient testing and admissions.
• Check-in/check-out patients and schedule patient appointments.
• Check insurance eligibility and submit prior authorizations.
• Float between clinics as needed.

Omni Women's Health Medical Group is a leading provider of women's health care in the Fresno, CA area. We are looking for an energetic, personable and hardworking bilingual Medical Assistant for our busy and fast-paced practice.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and interview patients, measure vital signs and document pertinent information in the patient's chart
• Prepare exams rooms as necessary for patient examinations, treatments and procedures
• Update and file medical records and insurance reports
• Administer immunizations/injections
• Arrange for patient testing and admissions
• Stock and clean rooms and sterilize instruments
• Check-in/check-out patients
• Schedule patient appointments
• Check insurance eligibility and submit prior authorizations
• Maintain and update patient records as appropriate
• Float between clinics as needed
• Perform and undertake other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Office Manager

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
