Job summary

Sante Health System seeks a skilled Medical Assistant to support back-office patient flow at our Fresno site. You will assist with examinations, take vital signs, prepare rooms, and help with injections, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring patient safety.

The ideal candidate has an accredited MA program, high school diploma, and is bilingual in Spanish. This role offers full-time, non-exempt hours at Valle y Sleep and Wellness Center with emphasis on teamwork and quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and treatment; take vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms with instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique for treatments and sterilization.
• Assist physicians with procedures and injections as ordered.
• Follow physician orders for treatments and medications.
• Draw medications for injections as directed by physician.
• Assist in submitting pharmacy requests as needed.
• Manage supply inventory and request replenishments.
• Maintain patient files and confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Participate in required meetings and professional development.
• Back-up front office duties as needed.
