Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Meat Wrapper to provide high-level customer service while practicing safe food handling. You will support the meat department with stocking, pricing, and display maintenance, and you will help ensure product quality and proper rotation.

Qualified candidates typically hold a high school diploma or GED, have experience in a meat department, and can communicate in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Stocks and merchandises both the fresh and frozen cases.
• Prices products.
• Ensures product's quality, protections, accuracy and proper rotation in coolers.
• Rewraps meat packages, as needed.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Ensures great customer service.
• Maintains clean and organized pork rinds rack.
• Keeps meat displays clean and presentable.
• Stores cleaning supplies properly.
• Advertises department products.
