Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Richardson, TX is seeking a friendly Meat Clerk to join our Store Operations Team. You will help customers, maintain clean displays, and assist the Meat Cutter with trimming and prep work, ensuring fresh, quality products.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, read and write English and Spanish, and work in a fast-paced grocery environment. Basic PC/Outlook skills and a Food Handler Card are preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with customers and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all food-related positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous customer service and assist customers.
• Clean shelves and display cases; restock and rotate meat displays.
• Work with the Meat Cutter to determine items to cut and handle special orders.
• Lift, bend, stand, and move in a fast-paced grocery environment.
