Job summary

Trane Technologies in Puerto Rico (Arecibo area) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on second shift to optimize manufacturing processes and lead lean initiatives. The role requires a BS in Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSIE/BSME/BSEE) required.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing industry.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures; strong problem solving.
Excellent presentation and communications skills (English/Spanish).
Team oriented with conflict management and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of ISO and Lean principles; EIT/CIAPR preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods.
Supervise Manufacturing Technicians and Utilities personnel to meet quality, production, cost, and delivery goals.
Update attendance and timecards in Kronos daily; ensure data accuracy.
Lead Process Mapping, FMEA and problem-solving initiatives for continuous improvement.
Implement Lean principles and facilitate cross‑functional teams.
Plan and implement technology transfers and new product introductions within timeline and cost constraints.
