Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Indiana is hiring a Bilingual Manufacturing Associate fluent in English and Spanish. You will interpret and translate for production floor communications, and train new associates to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include listening, translating verbal and written statements, and acting as a backup to production when interpretation isn’t needed. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with overtime as required.

• Good interpersonal abilities and attention to detail.

Job Description:Bilingual Manufacturing AssociateJob Overview: This Associate will be working and reporting in our production environment and will be pulled to interpret and/or translate as needed. Must be fluent in English and Spanish. This individual will be responsible for preparing new Associates for life on the production floor by providing hands on training on the production floor. This role will also serve as needed as an interpreter and/or translator for daily communications between Associates and People Services representatives and/or supervisors (Group Leaders) (e.g., individual/team meetings, coaching, disciplinary action, safety intervention, medical, etc.). This individual will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and interpreting and/or translating verbal or written statements between English and Spanish-Speaking Associates.
