Job summary

Compass Connections operates the El Paso East-All Boys Shelter in El Paso, Texas, and seeks compassionate team members for janitorial/maintenance roles. You will help maintain safe, clean facilities and support daily operations to serve children in care.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years in janitorial work, with knowledge of chemicals and cleaning procedures. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) or more years of experience in janitorial or maintenance.
• Knowledge of chemicals and safe use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
• Maintain safe and sanitized conditions in agency buildings and equipment.
• Operate maintenance equipment and report any malfunctioning equipment.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions.
• Implement Compass Connections safety protocols in emergencies.
• Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality in all areas of operations.
• Adhere to Compass Connections policies and professional conduct.
