Job summary

Starling Oncology is seeking a Medical Assistant for our outpatient oncology clinics in Whittier, CA. The MA will provide administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care.

The role requires bilingual Spanish and English capabilities, proficiency with EMR, and the ability to work across clinic locations. Mileage between clinics is reimbursed and same-day interviews are offered.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Diploma program; MA Certificate preferred but not required.
• 2 years of experience as Medical Assistant in outpatient clinic/medical office preferred.
• BLS and CPR certification preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain documentation in EMR systems and ensure accurate patient records.
• Take patient vitals and prepare patients for physician care.
• Assist with patient examinations, procedures, or treatments.
• Perform venipunctures and basic laboratory procedures.
• Administer certain medications as directed by the physician.
• Cross-train in patient registration and medical records support as needed.
