Job summary

Starling Oncology in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant Outpatient Oncology who is bilingual in Spanish and English. The MA will provide administrative and clinical support across multiple clinics, ensuring accurate EMR documentation, patient prep, vitals, and basic lab procedures.

Mileage reimbursement and cross-training in registration and medical records may be available. This role entails travel between clinic locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant diploma program; certificate preferred.
• 2 years of outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EMR documentation for patient visits.
• Take and document vital signs and collect specimens.
• Prepare patients for physician examinations.
• Assist with procedures and basic treatments.
• Administer medications as directed by physician.
