Senior Care Therapy, LLC provides in-person psychotherapy to the geriatric population across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. Clinicians handle clinical care with administrative support from the company, including billing and credentialing, enabling focused patient care.

Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) deliver individual and group therapy in skilled nursing facilities, with full-time schedules and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LMHC license in the state of practice.
• Fluent English and Spanish communication skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions in SNF/subacute facilities.
• Diagnose and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with facility staff and families to support care.
• Maintain compliant clinical documentation in the EHR system.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Senior Care Therapy is seeking Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) to join our mission of providing in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We currently serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted livings throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of emotional and behavioral health conditions, including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using our clinician-designed electronic medical/health system (EHR).
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in State applying for.
• Effective oral and written communication in English and in Spanish
• Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.
• Ability to walk, stand, and move between patient rooms and offices within the facility throughout the day.
• Full Vaccination and Booster Status may be required in some facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
• History of treating Anxiety, Depression and Adjustment Disorders.
• Psych or Addictions experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
