Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Counseling or a related mental health field.
  • Current registration as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the state of Texas (NO LPC-I).
  • ANSA Certification.
  • CANS 3-6 Certification.
  • CANS 6-17 Certification.
  • Reside in Texas.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and evaluate client concerns, strengths, and resources.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Provide counseling using evidence-based and culturally sensitive interventions.
  • Promote healthy coping strategies, self-reflection, and interpersonal growth.
  • Monitor and document treatment progress, symptoms, and client engagement.
  • Adjust therapeutic interventions based on ongoing assessments.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and prepare appropriate referrals when necessary.
  • Engage clients with empathy, warmth, and professionalism throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Educate clients on emotional and financial aspects of treatment when needed.

We're currently seeking a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our growing team and provide compassionate, client-centered care throughout Texas.

  • Reside in Texas
  • Experience in providing direct therapeutic services (supervised experience is acceptable).
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to culturally competent care.
  • Community-oriented and responsive to client diversity.
  • Ability to work independently and travel for community-based services.

Preferred:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Play Therapy
  • Paid supervision (LPC-S) is available for LPC-A's who do not already have a board-approved supervisor.
