Exceptional Wellness, Inc. is a community-based mental health organization seeking a fully licensed Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team.

The role offers flexible full-time and part-time hours with client-centered, trauma-informed care in a Texas-based practice. The counselor will conduct intakes, develop treatment plans, deliver talk-based therapy, and monitor progress while collaborating with clients to create individualized schedules.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling or related field required.
• LPC license required (NO LPC-A, NO LPC-I).
• ANSA Certification required.
• CANS 3-6 Certification required.
• CANS 6-17 Certification required.
• Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with diverse populations and commitment to culturally competent care.
• Community-oriented with client-centered, trauma-informed approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver therapy using talk-based interventions to promote adaptive behaviors.
• Encourage self-reflection, coping strategies, and healthy relationships.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness through symptom tracking and client feedback.
• Document progress and write medical/referral notes as needed.
• Provide education to prospective clients about treatment expectations and commitments.
• Maintain warm, engaged, trauma-informed therapeutic presence.
• Adapt treatment plans to client progress, culture, and community context.
• Participate in supervision (company-paid if needed).
