Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet patients.
• Assist the pharmacist on duty in processing prescriptions.
• Enter patient demographic and billing information in the pharmacy information system.
• Enter prescription information into the pharmacy information system.
• Print prescription labels and information.
• Select the correct medication from inventory for prescription order fulfillment.
• Prepare prescription orders for verification by the pharmacist.
• Package verified prescriptions for delivery to the patient.
