Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish with high proficiency in speaking and comprehension.
• Excellent written English skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties at the circulation desk in English and Spanish.
• Register and orient new patrons to services and policies.
• Maintain patron accounts and records.
• Shelve materials and maintain order in the collection.
• Provide reader’s advisory and information services in English and Spanish.
• Plan and conduct basic programs and outreach activities.
• Lead outreach events representing the library in both languages.
