Job Summary

Position may require the ability to work any of the seven days of the week, 52 weeks a year. Due to property staffing limitations, it is extremely critical that individuals be able to work their scheduled hours consistently and, if necessary, overtime hours requested.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  1. Prepare all lease-related paperwork accurately and timely. Be able to explain all lease documents to residents. Ensure all documents are completed prior to move-in.
  2. Follow established policies in screening and accepting residency applicants.
  3. Responsible for executing all affordable housing paperwork and reporting, if applicable.
  4. Assist in managing the day-to-day operation of the community. Coordinate with the property manager to ensure apartments are ready for move-in and maintained properly.
  5. Maintain prospect traffic and leasing data; assist with data entry as needed.
  6. Deliver resident gifts, inspect units for move-ins, and assist in planning resident functions.
  7. Participate in company training and meetings as required.
  8. Lease apartments and promote the property's products and services.
  9. Respond to inquiries, conduct site tours, and showcase property amenities and available units.
  10. Develop and implement effective sales skills.
  11. Work to optimize occupancy and maximize leased rent.
  12. Collaborate on sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic and occupancy rates.
  13. Maintain product knowledge through site visits and surveys.
  14. Respond to resident requests, resolve issues, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  15. Follow the lease renewal program to maximize renewals.
  16. Transport funds to the bank as required.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education And Experience
  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver’s license and current insurance
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
Physical Requirements

Access all units for showings, inspections, and notices. Ability to withstand weather conditions including temperatures above 90°F and below 32°F.

Working Conditions/Tools Required

Wearing company uniforms/accessories may be required. Use of office equipment such as computers, copiers, and phones is required.
