Job description

Waahe Capital is looking for a Leasing Agent who has good communication skills, including verbal and written skills, interpersonal skills for developing personal connections with prospective renters, keeping current renters happy and reducing turnover. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail for managing all aspects of lease terms, including conflict resolution, move-in procedures, financial transactions, and has good social media understanding and maintains the ability to hold multiple media accounts.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain occupancy as per the targets provided
  • Responsible for daily marketing efforts through social media and ILS platforms
  • Responsible for conducting property and unit tours with prospective tenants
  • Manage email correspondence with tenants, prospects, and co-workers
  • Create & distribute marketing materials (flyers, brochures, giveaways, etc.)
  • Assist Property Managers as needed with day-to-day property management
  • Support the property manager with lease renewals
  • Review all completed rental applications and leases for accuracy and completeness, and for conformance to Eden Housings Resident Selection Policy
  • Support all staff in the turnover of vacant units
  • Conduct applicant interviews, verifies potential resident income, scan all the documents to One Site - Document Management and take deposits and rents in accordance with Resident Selection Policy
  • Walk a vacant apartment when vacant and when completed by maintenance personnel or vendors to ensure they are clean and ready to show
  • Walk the entire property daily to be sure the common areas, landscaping, laundry, etc. are in good condition
  • Conduct the move-in procedures, marketing and public relations tours during office hours or by appointment, as appropriate
  • Prepares weekly Vacancy Reports, and ensures resident lists are accurate and up-to-date at all times
  • Maintain One Site property management software with accurate market rents and all additional charges
  • Prepare the weekly lease activity and occupancy report
  • Maintain social media marketing pages daily with current units available for leasing and community updates
  • Create marketing funnel and send emails to prospects
  • Responsible for collecting and reporting market survey reports on a weekly basis
  • Turning on/off utilities for rental properties
  • Process tenant work order requests
  • Follow up calls to tenants to confirm work completed
  • Perform other property management related tasks as assigned by the Property Manager, Regional Manager or HQ
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification
  • One or more years of experience in leasing
  • Understanding of property management and fair housing practices
  • Able to use property management software and excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Adaptable and dependable with the ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with others
  • Helpful and professional attitude and appearance
Schedule:

The standard work hours will be 40 hours per week and any overtime hours will be compensated in accordance with Arizona labor laws.

  • Phoenix, AZ 85015: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
