Job description

About Lyra Health

Lyra Health is a leading provider of evidence-based mental health care, serving more than 20 million people globally in partnership with employers and more than 100 million through health plan and partner relationships. The company has delivered more than 15 million sessions of mental health care, published more than 35 peer-reviewed studies, and delivered unmatched outcomes in terms of access, clinical effectiveness, and cost efficiency. Extensive peer-reviewed research confirms Lyra’s transformative care model helps people recover twice as fast and results in a 26% annual reduction in overall healthcare claims costs. Lyra is transforming access to life-changing mental health care through Lyra Empower, the only fully integrated, AI-powered platform combining the highest-quality care and technology solutions.

The Learning & Development Consultant provides strategic, organizational-level workplace wellbeing consultancy to international corporate clients across Lyra’s global markets. Partnering closely with clients, Account Management, and internal stakeholders, this role identifies workforce wellbeing needs and designs scalable, clinically sound, and commercially viable group-based learning interventions (workshops, webinars, leadership programs, and campaigns).

Note: This is an organizational consultancy role and does not involve individual clinical care, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment.

This is a Mexico-based fully remote position within Lyra International’s global Learning and Development function, supporting clients, colleagues and stakeholders across multiple international markets and time zones. Occasional work outside standard local working hours may be required to support global meetings, client engagements or programme delivery. Therefore the successful consultant must be comfortable working in a geographically distributed and cross-cultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • L&D Consulting:

  • Provide consultative guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on workplace wellbeing learning and development needs.

  • Assess organisational requirements and recommend appropriate group-based interventions aligned with client objectives, workforce needs and relevant cultural contexts.

  • Translate broad or complex client requirements into clear, practical and deliverable learning solutions.

  • Advise on programme structure, target audiences, learning formats, sequencing, engagement approaches and implementation considerations.

  • Client and Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Build trusted consultative relationships with clients, Account Management teams and key internal stakeholders.

  • Participate in client discovery, scoping and planning discussions to understand organisational challenges and desired outcomes.

  • Present recommendations clearly and confidently to both operational and senior-level stakeholders.

  • Project and Programme Management:

  • Coordinate the planning and implementation of learning and development programmes across multiple stakeholders, regions and time zones.

  • Develop clear project plans, milestones, delivery requirements and stakeholder responsibilities.

  • Monitor programme progress, risks, dependencies and changes in scope.

  • Content and Solution Quality:

  • Ensure proposed learning solutions are aligned with Lyra’s quality, clinical and professional standards.

  • Review learning objectives, programme structures and supporting materials for relevance, accuracy and appropriateness.

  • Work with content and facilitation-quality stakeholders when adapting or developing learning solutions.

  • Commercial and Financial Management:

  • Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with the client’s contract, available service hours and agreed commercial arrangements.

  • Work with Account Management and operational stakeholders to develop appropriate scopes, estimates and programme assumptions.

  • Identify services or requirements that fall outside the contracted scope and support the development of additional commercial proposals where appropriate.

Requirements:
  • Strong consulting and needs-analysis capability.

  • Knowledge of workplace wellbeing, organisational learning or learning and development.

  • Effective client and stakeholder relationship management.

  • Project and programme management capability.

  • Sound commercial judgement and awareness of operational feasibility.

  • The ability to develop practical, clinically appropriate and client-centred recommendations.

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global teams.

  • Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.

  • Cultural awareness and the ability to adapt approaches for different countries, populations and working environments.

  • Professional judgement, appropriate boundaries and a clear understanding of the distinction between organisational consultancy and individual clinical care.
