Job summary

Rocketship Public Schools seeks a Multilingual Learner Interventionist to support multilingual learners with small-group and one-on-one instruction, focusing on English language development and core academics using Rocketship curricula. You will collaborate with teachers and the regional ML team and report to the Principal and Regional Manager.

This role is contingent on funding and will be reassessed annually.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with multilingual learners and supporting language development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families.
• Experience interpreting and using multiple data sets to guide instruction.
• At least one year of school-based experience with elementary-aged students.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small group and one-on-one interventions targeting English language development.
• Administer and support ELPAC assessments and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers to analyze assessment data and plan instruction.
• Communicate progress with families every 6–8 weeks.
• Support language-rich classroom environments with integrated ELD strategies.
