Purestar-Group is seeking a Driver for our Boston/Somerville, MA operation. The role emphasizes bilingual English/Spanish communication, delivery coordination, and safe handling of laundry and freight.

The position involves loading/unloading, route adherence, maintaining equipment, and basic math for counts, with a Non CDL status but CDL helpful. On-site role with physical requirements and routine vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual language skills for completing shipping documents.
• Basic mathematical skills to record counts.
• Ability to safely operate freight elevator and truck lifts.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods and handle heavy loads.
• Ability to load/unload a tractor-trailer and secure contents.
• Non CDL position; CDL is a plus but not required.
• Understanding of English and Spanish language, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Loads/unloads laundry carts from tractor trailers on/off-site.
• Marks soiled laundry in clear English and ensures proper storage.
• Maintains delivery times, mileage, and quantities; obtains signatures.
• Communicates routes and schedules with Laundry manager.
• Performs routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment.
• Keeps equipment and surroundings clean.
